Description
DNS Sinkhole work activities for incident investigation and customer support Scan the Internet for cyber security items of interest, newly discovered DNS threats, exploit code, etc. Provide technical analysis and advice Update and support cases in the threat management system using DNS analysis results to help resolve events Provide expert flow analysis on internet DNS traffic to discover emerging threats and concerns. Analyze, correlate, and evaluate DNS entries and flow records to determine malicious domains to be blocked on the network. Provide reports reflecting the analysis performed regarding malicious activities detected. Work with senior team members and investigating technologies to define, create, and improve methods, procedures, algorithms, data structures and automation to accomplish this analysis. Develop tools using scripting languages including PERL, and Python.
