Description
Need experienced functional and technical consultant to work on Oracle Production Support team. Consultant will be part of DBA team supporting 50+ Oracle databases.Consultant will provide 24x7 on call support on a rotational basis. Consultant may also be assigned to work on projects installing and configuring Oracle databases 710 years of Oracle Production Support DBA experience installing, configuring and supporting Oracle on numerous flavors of Unix including AIX, HP, Linux and Solaris Extensive experience working with Oracle 9i and 10g R2 (OLTP and DSS) Experience with standby databases Extensive experience using RMAN and Data Guard for backup/recovery Experience with large databases (at least 1TB) UNIX Shell Scripting Performance tuning, monitoring Willingness to perform rotational 24/7 on call support Flexibility for after hour and weekend work
