Description
Acts as a Release Manager that oversees crossfunctional releases in v8 project which encompasses Siebel, Oracle ERP, BI/DW, Integration (Tibco), SAP and other homegrown applications. Manage and coordinate matrix release teams to ensure the timely, orderly and successful delivery of integrated releases and change requests. In addition to managing project releases, implement release & change best practices and standards. This will involve reviewing and ensuring that the software release cycle is executed according to plan which includes validating implementation plans, mitigation plans, test plans, phase exit and signoffs and communication plans. In addition to managing software release activities and generating/maintaining a Release Performance and Progress Reports and metrics, Release Status, and Release Risk Deliverables. Additionally, the Release Project Manager will leverage Software Development Life Cycle Methodology template and processes as appropriate
