Description
Responsibilities (Deliverables) Develops batch processing scripts in a UNIX Environment. Scripts are developed in Korn Shell and Perl.
The scripts call vendor provided executables and access brokerage performance data stored in an Oracle database.
The Oracle database has 1.5 TB of data, so experience working with large data sets is important. The database is also partitioned to take advantage of Oracle Parallel query functionality. The ideal candidate will be able to work directly with business analysts and read requirements documentation to enhance existing scripts or write new scripts with a minimum of supervision.
