Description
Both a high level, and specific, knowledge of the Unisys Communications (COMS),Unisys MCP operating system, and related system software.Analyzes and documents requirements for information systems.Develops and/or oversees plans for automated data processing communications systems from project inception to conclusion, and/or as directed.Constructs data models and activity/process models as may be required to define system functions.Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for developing communications systems and interfaces for Unisys mainframe applications.a. Develops logical models, block diagrams and logic flow charts.b. Translates detailed design into computer software.c. Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product.d. Prepares required documentation, including both programlevel and userlevel documentation.e. Enhances software to reduce operating time and/or improve efficiency.
