Description
Design, develop, test, and support PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers and other database objects to solve complex business problems. Design and implement complex shell scripts using Korn shell. Coordinate with DBAs for administrative tasks like creating/rebuilding indexes, adding partitions, analyzing tables, etc. Be able to performance tune any stored procedure, function, view, trigger, or query by utilizing all means necessary (indexes, partitioning, database hints, etc). Collaborate with the rest of the AD team to come up with a realistic and sound solution for a given business problem. Should proactively think of ways to improve performance on the database. Ability to think, work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
