Description
Candidates must have very strong technical a! nalysis and design skills along with strong communication skills. Must be able to analyze, document, and present current data structures, data flows, process flows, and interface points. Must also be able to participate in business requirements definition and functional design meetings with the business users, contributing by assessing the impact of their requests on current and future systems. Assignments will also include writing Technical Specifications, Coding and Unit Testing, System Testing, facilitating User Acceptance Testing, and moving projects into production. Majority of the systems are in COBOL or SCOBOL on the Tandem. TAL is not an acceptable substitute for COBOL. Consideration will be given to candidates without Tandem experience who have a proven record of successfully performing technical/systems analyst work on large (over 5,000 hours) and complex (involving multiple technical platforms)
