810 years experience developing computer software, including at least 5 years developing systems in Java5 + years C/C++ development experience on Unix environments5 + years experience in a technical leadership roleDevelopment experience with distributed systemsStrong Java internals knowledge, with concentration in lowpause (or zeropause_ and throughput Garbage Collection algorithms and Dynamic Compilation engines, such as HotSpot.Extensive knowledge of opensource Java projects and frameworksPerformance tuning of Java applications and frameworks; experience building Java monitors is a plusStrong team mentoring and technical leadership skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as technical presentation skills (white boarding, technical training)
