Description
The person will be primarily responsible for developing Cognos reports using Cognos version 8.2/ 8.4 in Report Studio, Query Studio and Analysis Studio. Should be familiar and be able to create Cognos Framework models, if needed. Should have strong understanding of Cognos toolsets, Cognos architecture, Cognos portals, Datawarehousing and RDBMS concepts. Technical Skills Cognos 8.2/8.4 Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, SQL, familiar with Cognos Framework Manager, Knowledge of Datawarehousing, Familiar with RDBMS concepts (Oracle and SQL Server) Business user requirements gathering, Knowledge of SDLC process, Familiarity with technical documentation, Highly motivated and willing to work on aggressive project timeline, Good communication skills. Others(Optional) Knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite Release 11i , Understanding of Finance business function
