Description
Cargill needs an experienced Peoplesoft HR Developer to develop and support all aspects of their North American HR application portfolio for a six month righttohi! re position. This involves a variety of applications with an emphasis on the PeopleSoft HR and Learning applications. The qualified candidate will be involved in projects of varying complexity and scope. This person will also frequently leverage services provided by internal and external technical resources. This position requires independent and original thinking to provide innovative technical solutions to meet business objectives of those areas that support client's HR Function. This broad mix of responsibilities will give exposure to several key areas of the client's Corporate HR Function. Principal accountabilities include 1.) 45% Application Development Utilize vendor supplied and industry standard technologies to develop and enhance business applications per business requirements. Must be able to interpret functional requirements and complete technical design. Solutions must be cost effective and technically efficient. 2.) 45% Application Support Provide application support for existing HRMS applications. Including Research problems independently using multiple resources. Break/fix analysis and programming. Batch job scheduling and monitoring. Application of software maintenance. Application of patches and upgrades. Make decisions regarding operational and application corrections. Provide recommendations regarding procedures and deadlines. 3.) 5% Maintain project timekeeping and technical documentation per standards.
