Description
Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support and all systems administrative functions required to maintain a large scale enterprise backup/restore infrastructure. Technologies supported include the backup/restore software using Symantec Netbackup and support of the virtual tape library system (VTL), both software and hardware (using FalconStor). Administrative knowledge of Unix and Windows server operating systems is required as well as knowledge of networks, server virtualization, system security, server and storage hardware, and other infrastructure software is required. Must have the ability to troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations. Must also support 24/7 oncall requirements and support corporate disaster recovery requirements.Virtual Tape System Intermediate PreferredInfrastructure Management Intermediate Required
