Description
Opening is for an IS developer who will provide technical assistance for projects supporting Sales Training & Management Development, specifically in the support of the SumTotal 7.1 LMS.Candidate will work closely with current IS support groups (IS eLearning Application Support), Sales Training & LMS vendor to support the application in the areas of new projects and the testing of application hot fixes and enhancements. Candidate will be responsible for working with the client and IS teams to successfully test and implement these changes with no negative impact on the production application. Will develop solutions to complex problems, and will initiate creative methods and collaborative problem solving. This position requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or another technology related field (e.g., MIS). Must have strong skills with .NET web application development, ASP.NET, .NET 2.0, Classic ASPExperience with Oracle on backend, experience with PL/SQL scripting and Unix scripting is highly desirable. Must be able to perform work according to schedule and autonomously.
