Description
Bayer MaterialScience built a global reporting portal using Adobe Flex. The portal is used around the globe with over 125 different reports in different reporting areas. The portal is also used throughout the organization starting with our executive committee and working down to product and marketing managers. In addition to on screen reports, the portal also offers a shopping cart feature where reports can be exported to PDF. In addition to Flex the portal utilizes Apache, Cold Fusion and MySQL for providing web service interface to store user profile and other application information. The primary business data source is SAP Business Warehouse.
