Description
Advanced knowledge of x86 hardware platforms; IBM x Series preferred.A+ certification is a plus, but not required.Advanced knowledge in MS Windows Operating Systems with specific understanding of device drivers and hardware.Thorough understanding of virtualization on x86 platform.Advanced knowledge and experience with VMware ESX platform and Virtual Center Server.VMware VCP certification a plus, but not required.Understanding of P2V migration progress; experience with Platespin Powerconvert a plus.Linux OS knowledge desired.Basic understanding of Disaster Recovery processes and terminology's.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems.Ability to interface with multiple customer contacts.Ability to follow a project plan and deliver results in aggressive time frames.
