Description
Production support on Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle 9i/10g databases. Troubleshoot and support all Microsoft SQL Server database instances and Oracle database instances. Respond actively to service desk tickets. Keep lights on. Document database administration standards, procedures and best practices. Work closely with application owners to ensure database availability Maintain Endo DBA teamsite. Develop processes in SSIS/SSRS to build the ENDO database infrastructure. The candidate should have expert level SQL Server DBA skills and medium Oracle DBA skills. The candidate should have past experiences in supporting production environments. Familiarity with SSIS/SSRS is a plus. Ability to learn SSIS/SSRS quickly is necessary. It is critical that the General database administration responsibilities include production monitoring and support, backup and recovery guidance, server tuning, security administration and infrastructure support.
