Description
Acts as a technical expert on the design and development of highlycomplex, largescale mainframe applications on Z/OS and very good exposure to DB2, JCL, COBOL, MQ on mainframe. Application tuning experience especially with DB2 is a plus. Also acts as an architect for internet applications on Unix/Linux platformUses expert knowledge of web technologies, including Java,Java Script, HTML, XML, Perl, multimedia applications, database modeling toolsand/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client area web siterequirements and determines and implements the most efficient and costeffectivesoftware/package solution. Does researching and tracking new webtechnologies, developing applications, and analyzing business requirements as theypertain to webbased systems. Able to learn new technologies on the job. Required Skill Set Mainframe, DB2, MQ, COBOL, JCL JEE Java, JSP, JavaScript & AJAX, XML, SOA & Web Services, SOAP. WebLogic/Web sphere application Server, , Oracle DB, Eclipse IDE,, Microsoft Office Tools, Visio, UML diagrams
