PowerBuilder Developer with PL/SQL Experience

Description

Participates in analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documenting of large, critical and complex proprietary, industry specific and commercial applications. Additionally, performs change management, application builds and front/back end patches for the above referenced applications. Provide application development and technical support for refined petroleum product logistical, inventory management, and billing systems including ATLAS, ATLAS Marine and other commercial applications, including participation in a 24 by 7 oncall rotation. Coordinate with users to determine requirements and ensure applications meet user and business needs. Ensure system changes are successfully implemented. Strong analytical abilities.Technical Skill Set employed Oracle PL/SQL, PowerBuilder, VB/VB.Net, C++/C#, and Unix/Linux shell scripting. Bachelor degree preferably in MIS/CIS and minimum of 5 + years related experience preferred. Additional requirements The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with coworkers, supervisors, internal and external customers; the ability to work in stressful conditions; the ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances; the ability to use a personal computer with the Windows(R) operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company's intranet; availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and callout basis; and the ability to work at the assigned job site.
