Attend design sessions, advise on best practices for maintaining and upgrading a Hyperion Planning System 9 infrastructure to ver11 Trains technical staff on Essbase and infrastructure configurationProvide status on technical deliverables to Database Administrators and Release ManagerProvide expertise on tuning and configuring application and databases (Essbase and Oracle) Provide expertise on installing and configuring Hyperion Planning System 9 and 11 on both the web/application servers and the database servers Provide expertise and knowledge transfer on proper maintenance procedures related to backup, restore, refresh, cloning, patching, upgrading, etc Key Competencies Demonstrated experience in designing and tuning optimal Essbase configurations in Hyperion System 9 and 11 Planning, especially on primarily Solaris/Unix architectureExcellent written & oral communication skills
