Description

1. One involves an animation of a progress graph for their scholarship initiative. They are thinking of an animation that would fill it up to the point of where they are now. They update the graph every quarter, so they would like to develop a mechanism that would allow them to update this animation every quarter.2. They would like to add the functionality to their site for individuals to be able to comment on articles. They also want to be able to log in as administrators so they can monitor, approve and delete comments as necessary. 3. They want an update on their homepage to have rotating stories instead of just one. They would like to have either 3 or 4 (an option would be great). Something where visitors to the site dont have to scroll over the photo to see a teaser or a headline would be ideal. Since they dont have rotating images for the impact areas they will also need to have it programmed where those refresh when visitors return to the homepage, but they dont scroll through while an individual is actually on the homepage. Job Duties Design, develop, update, and maintain Web Pages Use Web page creation tools to emphasize the development of graphical representations in support of product, process or concept, and marketing Develop, test and deploy Web Pages/Sites and Web based applications Provide consulting support for Internet activities to departments end users. Works cross functionally across the organization to create and implement highimpact Intranet and Internet web sites/subsites/pages based on perimeters established by external business owners Responsible for efficient, cost effective project estimations to include solutions, task identification, requirements gathering and analysis, work effort, work schedules, deliverable schedule dates and site enhancement activities Works with internal departments to provide associated deliverables required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments (e.g. business development, database development, web designers, enduser training) Additional responsibilities include documenting new Website functionality, supporting QA and deployment activities, troubleshooting production defects Keeps abreast of the latest frontend technologies for the Web and based on direction from management, learns and implements new technologies Applies and assists with the development, integration and maintenance of content management templates and systems
