Project Summary and Position Overview (A detailed description of the Project and what the Position entails must be included) The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining the availability and performance for MS Sqlserver 2000, 2005, 2018 databases in a production environment. The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of the types of database problems that surface in highly concurrent, reactive systems, as well as the various approaches for addressing these problems; the administrator ensures that the database provides service to its clients in a timely manner. Also, an understanding of handling statedependent and eventdriven behavior in database systems is essential.
