The Offshore Business Consultant is focused primarily on optimizing the offshore program through best practices, training, and the evolution to higher value sourcing models such as managed services. Primary ResponsibilitiesPartner with technology teams to assist them in making improvements in their offshore sourcing engagementsAssist technology teams in writing SOWs that are outcome or deliverable based, and include metrics and risk/reward SLAs.Develop a framework for higher value sourcing models such as managed services and educate technology teamsGather, document and communicate best practices related to managing offshore engagements. Best practices can come from internal and external sources.Secondary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain policies, procedures and processes related to the offshore program.Work with internal and external groups to develop and implement a training program focused on managing offshore engagements (cultural, remote management etc.)Develop an understanding of the strengths of each supplier and create a strategy for leveraging these strengths to bring value added services to KPIT.
