Information Security Analyst

Description

Assist in ongoing assessments of perimeter, network and web security including firewall, router, switches, VPN, SSL and other network component policies and configuration standards Validate firewall configurations and rules to maintain secure connections (internal and external) Monitor and address virus, malware, and other intrusions Administer intrusion detection/prevention systems and other security monitoring tools Assist in the development and monitoring of a patch management process for platforms Provide technical support for encryption efforts including strategy, solution evaluation, development and implementation Provide technical support in deploying a secure customer data program Partner with colleagues across STS to close out all open audit points requiring ISD involvement Provide ISD representation on future audits to ensure that information security perspective is included from the outset Partner with Infrastructure Engineering on ensuring that antivirus console and all other relevant process are properly functioning, remediated where required and kept current in terms of patch management and version upgrade Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Information Technology with a detailed, handson knowledge of information security tools and processes including data encryption, antivirus software and related intrusions, device monitoring and website filtering / blocking processes and tools Selfmotivated individual who maintains a high bar for her/himself and others Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
