Description
This position is in the Software Engineering group. This group requires someone to make enhancements to a custom pricing investment application in their iShares division. These enhancements will allow their custom application to better pull data in and with fewer errors. The candidate must have strong experience with Software Development practices, Change Management and Release Management. Strong SQL (Sybase) experienceKnowledge and experience writing and debugging stored procedures and triggers23 years UNIX experienceInvestment Management background a big +Financial Services markets preferable Deliverables will include 1. Code changes to their CP Warehouse data loader; to recognize new price type and load prices (Sybase stored procedures) 3 weeks2. Documentation of loader changes to design and support sign off (2 days)3. Update custom application configuration to load new fund (2 days)4. SIT, UAT test planning and execution to user sign off (2 weeks)5. Deployment plan for production release (1 day)
