Brio and SQL Query Developer

Description

The Medication Delivery (MD) IT team is seeking an experienced Brio Report and SQL Query Developer to analyze, design and develop reports and queries using Brio against an Oracle database.The current Fee For Service platform is built on Brio, MS Access and Microsoft Excel. Several data and reporting discrepancies have been identified in the current system. The project will reengineer and redevelop most of the original objects in Oracle, IBM DataStage and Brio/Cognos.Primary responsibilities include The candidate will; . Interact with the business to gather, understand, and document requirements . Translate business requirements into technical reporting requirements. Recommend appropriate report format, layout, and data element designs . Develop accurate, efficient reporting , in Brio Intelligence, to meet customer requirements. Work with the Data Warehouse team to design and validate data elements . Execute test procedures to verify the accuracy and performance of reports and queries. Verify report output with the business and obtain signoff on all deliverables. Collaborate with project team members on all phases of the project . Be responsible for the quality and delivery of project objects according to an aggressive project schedule.. Communicate on a frequent and regular basis with project team members and users regarding functional and design issues.. Provide input in order to finetune the project plan.. Assist in planning and creating technical documentation in order to facilitate turnover of longterm support to the IT organization.. Provide weekly status updates.
