UNIX / PeopleSoft Application DBA

Description

Over 7 years experience as a UNIX system administrator. Experience with PeopleSoft Application DBA activities including PIA administration, configuration and tuning. Strong experience with AIX and UNIX shell scripting Experience administering a highly available, multiserver Peoplesoft environment on a production support capacity. Experience with PeopleSoft Client, PeopleTools, App Server, BEA WebLogic/Tuxedo/Jolt, Process Schedulers, Change Assistant, App Designer, Data Mover, Integration Broker, Crystal Enterprise. PeopleSoft product installation and upgrade, application server administration, monitoring and tuning of PeopleSoft performance. Previous experience in the role of technical upgrade specialist on upgrade projects to HCM 9.0 Understanding of data structure changes between application releases and impact to application functionality Proven experience as a technical lead in large and complex HRIS upgrade projects Experience directing, leading, managing, and mentoring technical staff Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision both independently and as part of a team Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Experience working with Solaris 10 and Linux OS. UNIX system administrator training Shell programming and troubleshooting. Experience with shell scripting languages.
