CRIMS Project Manager

This Project Manager will work with the Criminal Records Unit to do an environmental scan on and gather additional requirements for a Criminal Record Information Management System (CRIMS) from different vendors and different states.The CRIMS project originated a few years ago when we evaluated commercial software products and surveyed several other states' systems. We did not find any commercial products that met our system requirements but there were a few systems that other states used that came close. We chose a system from the state of Michigan that we performed a formal gap analysis on and worked toward importing to Oregon. After the gap analysis was complete the project stopped due to staffing issues from the State of Michigan.So, we are now beginning a second evaluation of other state and vendor systems . We want a project manager who can lead the effort to do the environmental scan of the potential systems, compare them to the existing use cases and requirements, and make a recommendation for moving forward.Additional Instructions There are no additional instructions for this opening
