Object Oriented /Data Modeler

Description

Principal responsibilities include Develop OO and Data models to meet the needs of Compliance Technology Manage the flow of information into Compliance Technology applications from the upstream sources, which can be relational databases as well as other types of data stores Facilitate meetings to discover and document business requirements and build consensus across the development teams on the data models and data sources to meet those requirements. Maintain data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy in data sourcing It is sometimes necessary to store the required data if the source system does not meet certain requirements. This role will also be responsible for producing and maintaining data models and physical data architecture of these tactical data stores Candidate Profile Technical Skills Ideal candidate would generally have 7+ years of relevant technical and industry experience. Objectedoriented analysis and designs skills Object Oriented Programming Languages (such as Java or Smalltalk) Working knowledge of UML and modeling tools Demonstrated history of technical projects having been successfully deployed to production Strong working knowledge of data modeling, SQL and relational databases Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with clients Strong organizational skills and attention to details Handson project implementation and project supervision Ability to effectively multitask and adapt to changing business requirements Ability to work with limited guidance and in a fast paced, team environment
