Description
Communicate with project teams/SAs aiding in the design of a proper project plan to insure data integrity and safety. Installation and configuration of all versions of the NetBackup client software on multiple OS platforms, which include but are not limited to Windows, Solaris, AIX, HP, and Linux.Configure, monitor and remediate any preproduction backups.Work with OS support teams to resolve any O/S, hardware, or network based issues that may impact optimal performance of backup.Work with project team DBAs to implement database API style backupsWork with networking team to troubleshoot connectivity issues.Coordinate with multiple other groups to configure specialized backups. (i.e. ControlM scheduled, SSO, BCV, etc.)Documenting and reporting on every implementation.Troubleshoot issues related to backup integrity.Working with team to mentor and share new ideas.Assist with design
