Description
Selected individual will be a Sr. Developer for the Documentum Development team. The selected individual will use Documentum technology and industry standard tools to create custom integrations with Indus Asset Suite. Selected individual will be expected to work on site in Columbus, OH at least 4 days/wk 8 30am 5 30pm at least during ramp up phase (first month). Beyond that, occasional telecommuting may be considered depending on project demands and the learning needs of the Jr. Developers Responsibilities will be carried out using AEP's Software Development Lifecycle Process. The selected individual will report to the IT Development Manager, but will also have a strong relationship with the Project Manager. Primarily responsibilities include oversight of design, coding, testing and debugging. .This position is typically achieved with 8 or more years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years in a System Analyst role. Candidates have typically obtained a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field. Roles and Responsibilities Senior development role within Development teamOversight of design, development, quality, testing and debugging.Coordinates work done by members of the Document Management Development teamIs responsible for ensuring completion of tasks assigned to the Document developersProvides periodic status updates and details on project delivery of all outstanding tasks that must be delivered by the /Document Management team. Required skills. A successful applicant must have Experience with developing Documentum software including strong development work on WDK applicationsExperience with general document management and document life cycle processesExperience with Documentum.Experience with Documentum (DFC) and Oracle APIsExperience building applications in fault tolerant environments (clustering, load balancing)A solid background in information or interface design and implementation of workflow.Knowledge of .NET, SQL/DQL, VB6, ASP, XML, Java, Java Script, VBScript;Must communicate effectively with technical, planning and business resources assigned to the project.Experience in maintaining focus and driving results in a fastpaced,dynamic environmentA strong background interfacing with multiple customers; ability to coordinate effectively, multitask and manage pressureExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience in analyzing/researching alternative solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordinglyCommitment to teamwork and establishing strong internal and external business relationshipsProven ability to work using different styles as needed to accommodate the situations encountered.
