SQA Engineer

Description

This position is for a QA engineer to conduct software install and deployment testing. This engineer will make significant contributions to the quality of AutoCAD software delivered by this development organization. Experience as a CAD Manager of Autodesk products is preferred. Shall work closely with Software Designer and Developers and take an active role in ensuring that the installer is developed with the highest standards of quality and meet customer needs. Responsibilities Test AutoCAD installer according to specifications.Develop a detailed understanding of next generation AutoCAD installer features. Review and critique marketing requirements, conceptual designs, and design specifications. Identify critical areas of the installer. Participate in team reviews of test designs and specifications. Requirements BS or MS in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science or equivalent areas3 years of IT experience on Windows based operating systems Windows XP and VistaAn understanding of how to use and create network sharesAn understanding of how to use MSISelfstarter works well independently and on a team. Demonstrated leadership ability.Flexible and willing to devote time needed to deliver high quality products on schedule.The knowledge and experience on the following items is a plus The use of MS Active Directory for GPO.SCCM 2017/SQL Server 2005.TCP/IP for IPv4/IPv6/Proxy server setups (networking using switches/routers/proxy servers would be a big plus).
