Document Management Systems SME

Description

The Greater Orlando Airport is preparing to implement an enterprise wide ECM (Document Management Systems) system. All departments within the Authority will use the ECM system. The implementation will be accomplished in phases over a period of time, three years for planning purposes. The plan is to define the requirements for ECM software and associated hardware products based on all of the Authoritys requirements and then recommend which requirements should be implemented in each phase based on investment dollars available and the estimated returns in dollars or other measures. The software and associated hardware infrastructure requirements and the definitions of business processes selected for implementation will be incorporated into a Request for Proposal (RFP). The scope, cost and benefit of each phase will be reviewed during budget preparation for the following fiscal year to establish phase priorities and funding levels. SME consulting services are required to define these requirements and process definitions and to prepare the RFP. The qualifications of the SME are as follows 1. Have an indepth understanding of the current available ECM software products, their positive and negative attributes and cost.2. Have an indepth understanding of the different architectures of the various vendors ECM software products and the associated infrastructure requirements (e.g., servers and storage and communications).3. .Have experience automating business processes related to content, including but not limited to records collection, storage retrieval and version control; drawing collection, storage, retrieval and configuration management; web content management, and collaboration.4 Have experience with definition and implementation of various vendors enterprise ECM software products.5. Be able to translate requirement interview results into specification requirements and business processes.
