Description
Responsibilities Gather requirements, analyze, design, code, test, and implement both batch processes/programs and stored procedures for new development Maintain and support existing systems Advise or collaborate with developers on solutions to issues, data architectures, system facilities/capabilities and the operation/tuning of databases Provide oncall support on a rotating basisz/OS, JCL, COBOL, DB2, SQL, Syncsort, COBOL Stored Procedures Full Life Cycle methodology BMC DB2 utilities, MQSeries, C/C++, UNIX, SAS a plusExcellent communication skills (listening, persuasiveness, oral, written) Strong people skills (team orientation, judgment, interpersonal relations) Ability to work with minimal direction from management Result and goal oriented Highly proactive, takes initiative Experience with pricing and yield management systems a plus
