Description

Extensive experience in test approach, master test plan, and test case preparation/execution.Possess and demonstrate advanced SQL skills. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios and scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.Plan, manage, and execute tests.Coordinate and manage daily test activities and assignments in accordance with the project schedule.Responsible for defect and test execution management, root cause assessment and gap analysis. Able to interface with Project Team to ensure test plans, requirements and related documents properly address project needs and are traceable and executable to requirements. Able to identify and track defects, issues, risks and action items. Must be willing to adhere to defined established processes and have experience in process analysis and reengineeringExpert user of Test Director/Quality Center and MS Office.Preferred Skills Previous experience in Data warehouse application testing.Previous experience working with Home Depot Enterprise Data Warehouse applications.Previous experience in testing on Teradata databases or in Teradata conversions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail. Must be a selfstarter who can work independently or harmoniously with a team with little or no supervision. Must have a sense of urgency, be extremely proactive, and able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to think outside of the box while remaining quality focused. Additionally, must be able to lead efforts when necessary, be assertive, personable and persuasive , able to speak up and voice opinions/concerns. Detailed Description of Daily Assignment Plan and execute QA testing for the Enterprise Data Warehouse Replatform Project. Analyze project documentation to assure consistency and quality of Requirements and Design Specifications and the Teradata Conversion. Act as SME for assigned QA workstream. Provide guidance, mentorship and direction on how test efforts are designed and executed, ensuring adherence to defined processes, as needed. Detailed Description of needed deliverable Manage defect reports, test execution, test plans and test results. Create and maintain test cases and test scripts in Quality Center.
