Description
Fort Dearborn Life is seeking a Cognos Developer on a contracttohire basis. Their core, enterprise applications were mostly purchased from vendors and came with a set reporting structure. The purpose of this role will be to take the existing reporting environment and modify it to meet the various needs of certain business lines including marketing, sales, actuarials, underwriting and finance. Cognos 8.2 or above and SQL Server experience are important. Any VB/VB.net development experience would be a plus. ReportNet is what we currently use, however we're looking for someone who has more than ReportNet and greater experience using a variety of tools and using them for data setup and reporting. Here they will only be doing reporting, but understanding how the whole process works allows them to more readily understand HCSC and their requirements.
