Description
Must have experience with Microsoft Visual Basic 6 AND Microsoft Visual Basic.Net. Development of ClientServer systems desirable. We need software developers who can quickly understand existing code and get to work with minimal oversight. There will not be specifications from which they will code; they must be able to work from verbal instructions. Much of the work will be in Visual Basic 6, though some work will involve converting and enhancing VB6 code into VB.Net. The candidates must have a very good understanding of multithreaded programming, as the work primarily revolves around taking existing singlethreaded code and making it ''thread safe'' for multiple threads to use. The candiate will be working on is Gasper Vantage.
