Description
Intermediate to advanced Windows administration skills required Intermediate to advanced Linux/UNIX administration skills required Experience with Cognos BI tools, and ETL tools highly desired. Understands how to isolate, diagnose, and resolve server, network, and applications issues.Solid TCP/IP networking skills Experience supporting and maintaining Windows clusters Experienced troubleshooting with Registry, Event Viewer, Performance Monitor Experience writing shell scripts, Perl, and VB Storage background, such as RAID, server backup and restore including Registry Experienced with IIS, Apache, Tomcat, OAS, and Web Logic Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong customer service skills Independent problemsolving and selfdirection Experience writing policies and procedures required Experience in capacity measurement and planning Experience with ITIL service management standards and best practices Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning a plus Basic Database knowledge necessary, Oracle helpful
