Description
This is a senior handson DBA position involving both Systems and Application DBA responsibilities. Besides 79 years as an Oracle DBA, this position requires a minimum of 3 years supporting SAP in a UNIX environment. Must have SAPGUI experience and be familar with SAP database management tools to include brtools. Must be proficient with Oracle internals, tools including dbms_jobs, RMAN, SQLPlus, export/import. High level of competency in backup and recovery issues is required. UNIX background must include shell scripting. Other requirements include a minimum of 2+ years supporting large (multiterabyte) databases, experience with database linking and excellent troubleshooting skills.
