EMS/SCADA Applications Manager

Description

Bachelor of Science Degree in Power System Engineering, Computer Science, or related applicable profession and technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Typically possesses five years supervising experience or five or more years performing functions within an EMS/SCADA application group.Demonstrated experience working with decision support tools used in a 24x7 operational environment.Demonstrated experience working with electrical power system operations and process control equipment used in a utility control environment.Demonstrated experience modeling, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications of medium to large complexity.Demonstrated experience interfacing and/or collaborating with clients, direct reports, corporate officers, and other managers to develop solutions and facilitate cooperation between departments.Demonstrated experience managing and implementing multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining cost, scope, resources, planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance, as well as experience managing and leading crossfunctional teams.Demonstrated experience managing talent by selecting and developing employees to fill organizational needs.Demonstrated experience researching and providing alternatives and innovative solutions to address business needs.Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across multiple areas to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
