Monitoring all aspects of the infrastructure Hardware failures and degradation of serversTelecom equipmentNetworking equipmentOther data center equipmentOperating System and disk space usageSoftware monitoring of all application servicesBackup jobs, antivirus updates, and intrusion detectionMaintain documentation of server applications and services.Maintenance of disaster recovery procedures and policies pertinent to the Data Center.Produce various reports including availability and performance, SOX, backups/restores, antivirus status, and capacity planning.Manage backup jobs and restore requests and offsite tape management.Management of power and rack space for the installation of new equipment.The physical installation of hardware including network and fiber wiring.Maintain documentation of procedures for testing and/or maintenance of data center equipment.Coordinate the repair of hardware outages, manage spare inventory and create maintenance reports.Maintenance of out of band and crash cart access to servers in each computer room.Hardware asset management including service contract details.
