Java/J2EE Developer

Description

Ability to code J2EE and Java components according to specifications.Ability to formulate concepts and develop solutions using defined user requirements, detailed designs, and technical specifications. Work with others on the group to clarify and further define requirements, as necessary.Ability to create tests at the unit, application, and system level in compliance with the defined testing framework (ie JUNIT).Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles which can be confirmed by experience.Ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.Must have familiarity with and demonstrated use of J2EE patterns and frameworks.Must have 3+ years of full lifecycle development with Java and J2EE.Must have 2+ years of distributed application experience.Must have 2+ years of experience with relational database tools such as Oracle.Must have 1+ years of experience with JSP, EJB, and JMS development.Must have 1+ years of experience with IBM's WebSphere Studio Application Development and/or Rational Application Developer tool.Experience working within the Federal res3rve Systems technical infrastructure, environment, or applications a plus.Experience with Java 5 a plus.Experience with web model controller (MVC) frameworks (ie. STRUTS) a plus.Experience with Connect Direct a plus.Experience with MQ Series a plus.Experience with CM Synergy a plus.Experience with deploying applications to the Websphere Application Server a plus.Any Java Programming certifications a plus.
