Description

As a member of a crossfunctional development team, Software Engineers workclosely with Database, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Project Managementand other software teams to implement technology solutions for new andexisting products and services. Software Engineers participate in all phasesof product development including planning, analysis, design, development,testing and ongoing support.Implement new features, components, and services from specsemploying Javabased technologies with little direct supervision.Participate in requirements analysis and development planningactivities.Assist in resolving testing and production issues when they arise.Produce detailed and accurate documentation relating to assignedtasks when necessary. Promote highlycollaborative, teamoriented environment, workingclosely with all levels of product development staff and thirdpartydevelopment teams.BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (orequivalent), with strong competencies in objectoriented development, datastructures, algorithms and software design and architecture.5 years experience programming Core Java, JSP and J2EE technologies.Extensive (2+ years) experience using Spring and Spring MVC.Coding experience using Webpresentation technologies (HTML, CSS,Javascript), SQL scripting, and Unix scripting.Solid grasp of software development lifecycle bestpractices,methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Test DrivenDevelopment, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain DrivenDesign, and Dependency Management.Experience in ecommerce application development.Experience working with or developing Open Source projects.Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.Experience with Oracle 10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.Experience with MuleESB. It is preferred if the candidate has 23 years of experience withMessaging Technologies.
