Description

Position Description Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Supports testing, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product. Helps prepare both programlevel and userlevel documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Experience Level 610 Years. Skill Set Ability to rely on instructions and preestablished guidelines to perform the functions of the position. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with relational database concepts, and clientserver concepts. We are looking for an experienced clientside Windows/Visual C++ developer with 5 years experience in VC++, with excellent communication skills who can work well in a team oriented environment. This person will have experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 IDE, MFC, STL, .NET 1.1 and SourceSafe. The person should also be strong in Object Oriented concepts, programming and design, and have a good level of expertise with ODBC. Familiarity with PL/SQL, COM and the Com_Framework is a plus. The candidate should have at least a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent. The assignment will be to make limited GUI and business logic changes to a legacy system. The engagement may be extended up to ten additional months.
