Description
This is not a Java developer role, but the candidates do need to know how to install Java applications in a Unix environmentThis is a position on the OMS (Outage Management System) project. This is a software package from Oracle. The successful candidate will be setting up various environments for the project such as development, test, QA and production. This includes installation and configuration of Unix applications and Websphere deployment of Java applications. Required Unix, Oracle 10g, Java, JBoss The candidate must have good communication and documentation skills and be able to work independently and quickly pick up on what needs to be done. The candidate must be able to work on multiple streams of work at the same time. A good understanding of Java fundamentals is a plus
