Description

The functions that will be fulfilled by the Risk Management Applications support person include Managing the production calendar ensure that the production calendar accurately reflects user operations, system support operations, migrations to new releases, and any other events which could impact throughput. Communicating these events to all stakeholders. Monitoring user jobs, intervening as necessary to ensure they reach completion. Recording any intervention(s) using the appropriate logging and monitoring tools. Communication of any intervention to the affected parties. Documenting and reporting systems and/or applications issues to users and development staff in a timely manner, including all relevant information and an assessment of the priority level of an issue; documenting any system changes in the system log. Ensuring that the loop is appropriately closed on all systems issues. Responding promptly to business user requests Performing weekend and evening support as needed Analyzing production hardware issues and reporting its performance Overseeing archival of data and managing data backup policies Management of authorized users ensure that the set of authorized users for any applications being managed is audited regularly Playing the role of point of contact for infrastructure changes/upgrades, attending meetings and communicating issues. Playing the role of expert user who is highly familiar with the application, it's usage and architecture. Ability to bridge available to support new users as they join the group.
