Business Objects / SAP BW Solution Architect

Description

This candidate will have experience with BI frontend tool SAP's Business Objects. This candidate should have indepth knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Also has experience and understanding of BI data modeling and designs, ETL activities, complexities and tools, task estimation and project management, and database design and performance issues. Also has experience on multiple platforms including versions of UNIX and Windows and ERP solutions. Ideally the candidate has experience with SAP BW and operational reporting includes Technical handson expertise using OLAP tool Business Objects XIR2/XIR3 (Reports, Designer, Web Intelligence, Info view , and Supervisor) Expertise in working on Web Intelligence Universe Designer, Crystal 2018, Crystal Xcelsius and SDK. Experience in Universe designing, developing and generating complex, Adhoc, dashboard Reports, Business views, LOV, complex measure using functions, complex logical counts, and averages. Expertise in Business Objects reporting functionalities such as Master Detailed, Slice and Dice, Drilling methodology, Filters, Ranking, Sections, Graphs and Breaks. Well experienced in writing Complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages using PL/SQL Programming. Experience in integrating BO into an applications (such as Java GUI applications). Experience presenting, comparing, architecting solutions among one or many of these BI suites in varied industries Qualifications Lead and contribute to all phases of the software development cycle for the applications owned by this team. This includes both current production and new applications. In particular Provide expert consultation to current technical staff. Consult with clients to define and document requirements. Participate in the design of larger applications. Design, develop, and unit test components needed for larger applications. Work with the project manager and other developers to integrate components into larger applications. Help the Quality Assurance team develop applicationlevel testing plans. Other duties as assigned.
