Description
Review functional/nonfunctional requirements and specification documents; interview end users to understand business process and refine requirements. Research source data locations to validate requirements Preparation/Validation of Unit/Integration Test cases/documentation Perform Root Cause Analysis on defects discovered during Test phases of the Project. Partner with Support to complete design/code review and ensure knowledge transfer is successful. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience architecting data warehousing and business intelligence solutions Demonstrated experience designing. prototyping, developing and deploying Crystal Xcelsius solutions Significant experience developing Logical data models that support Reporting and Analytics Experience with source system data profiling and Strong SQL skills Proven experience using aggregate aware, contexts for multi subject Universes, use of derived tables, complex measure using functions, complex logical counts, and averages. Significant experience with Webi SDK model. Strong understanding of designing data acquisition/integration strategy utilizing Informatica V 8 Experience designing and developing DW/BI solutions on IBM DB2 V9 Infoshpere suite of products. Solid understanding of UNIX scripting and familiarity of Mercury Quality Center. Excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical ability Excellent customer communication skills
