Description Helps develop the enterprise data strategy as well as a roadmap to transform the data environment from one that has been siloed to one that is aligned and integratedDevelops key aspects of the information architecture, including data models, data flow diagrams, and metadataThis individual will work closely with both business users and technical staff to guide the most effective design of information systems. Responsibilities Acts as lead data modeler on a large data commercialization project.Looks across multiple sets of information requirements and develops information architecture strategies that optimize reuse of both data and software.Creates ER (conceptual, logical, and physical) and dimensional modelsAnalyzes data using SQL and other toolsWorks as a focal point within a large team following Agile/SCRUM methodologies Skills Any data modeling tool (ERWin preferred)Outstanding oral and written communication skillsStrong SQL skillsA development background is highly desirableKnowledge of SOA principles and data service/virtualization layersKnowledge of Structured Finance Products (RMBS, CMBS, ABS, CDO), Loan and Loan Performance, Property Valuation, Consumer Credit, is a plus but not requiredStrong interpersonal skills are essential in dealing with individuals across many different disciplines with different expectations
