Description
Description This person will be responsible for supporting Unix operating systems, related products and services in support of the Storage Migration project.This individual will be called on to perform installation, monitoring, capacity planning, performance and tuning, and problem resolution of AIX, Solaris and Linux operating systems.The position will require interfacing with various infrastructure groups (such as database, network and Backup/Recovery support), application groups and vendors for Unix infrastructure products, such as VCS and HDLM.Uses extensive knowledge of the corporate computing products and services to support the IT infrastructure.Must be able to develop, implement and test complex operating systems.Will be expected to coordinate rollouts, upgrades and projects of complex scope.Defines and recommends solutions to capacity issues. Analyzes complex technical and Level 2 system problems.
