Description

Write, edit and proofread content for web pages, applications, help, new media and other forms of communication. Write metadata and keywords to optimize pages for search engine optimization. Possess expertise in writing, web writing and industry best practices. Provide input to processes and procedures for effective content management. Make content decisions and contribute insight regarding content strategy and direction. Coordinate with internal clients, business stakeholders, project managers and other contributors including usability analysts, designers, testers and developers to ensure consistency in style, tone, branding and quality of web content.Required Skills and Competencies Degree in English, Communication, or Journalism or related field, or equivalent education and related training Three to five years of related experience Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to write clear, concise copy for the web.Ability to write persuasive and clear content Ability to communicate complex concepts Demonstrated experience with social network communities Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment Solid teamwork skills Strong work ethic Ability to operate independently Previous web writing, online marketing communications or corporate communications writing and editing experience preferred
