UNIX / LINUX Server Engineer Minimum of 3+ years experience with Linux administration in a large computing environment 300 serversSUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 9 & 10 is preferredShould have knowledge and experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems and SPARC and Intel hardware platforms and the functions they perform Demonstrated expertise with Unix/Linux operating systems, especially SuSE and RedHat Must have the ability to follow a task to completion Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work on a team as well as independently Experience with any or all of the following is preferred AutoYast, RPM creation and usage, kickstart, Novell's Identity Manager and Zenworks Linux Management (ZLM) tools, Veritas File System managementSOLARIS background is a plusBachelors degree in Computer Science or related preferred.
